Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the services of AJ Interior Tech. By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Design Consultancy & Audits

All "Free Design Audits" provided by AJ Interior Tech are preliminary assessments based on the information and measurements provided by the client during the initial consultation. The final Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and site-specific measurements will supersede any initial estimates provided during the consultation phase. AJ Interior Tech shall not be liable for discrepancies arising from inaccurate dimensions or information provided by the client.

2. Intellectual Property

All 2D drawings, 3D photorealistic renders, mood boards, material selections, and architectural concepts created by AJ Interior Tech remain the exclusive intellectual property of the firm. Unauthorized reproduction or use of these designs with third-party contractors is strictly prohibited unless a design-release fee is paid and a written release agreement is executed. Violation of this clause may result in legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India).

3. Project Timelines — The 45-Day Promise

Our "100% On-Time Delivery" guarantee applies to modular kitchen and wardrobe projects once the site is cleared for installation and all civil work is completed. The following are explicitly excluded from our penalty-backed timeline guarantee:

• Delays caused by third-party civil, plumbing, or electrical contractors
• Electrical or structural changes requested by the client after design sign-off
• Force Majeure events including floods, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government-mandated closures
• Delays in client approvals for design changes, material selections, or payment milestones

4. Payment Terms

As per our ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, production at our Hassan factory begins only after the initial 50% mobilization advance is received and confirmed. The remaining balance is structured as follows:

• 25% — Upon completion of production and before transportation to site
• 25% — Upon final site handover and client sign-off

Specific payment schedules are documented in the individual project contract, which supersedes this general provision. All payments are to be made to AJ Interior Tech's registered bank account only. AJ Interior Tech accepts no liability for payments made to any individual or unauthorized account.

5. Warranty & Maintenance

Our warranty terms are as follows:

• 30-Year Warranty — Applies specifically to core woodwork using premium BWP/BWR grade plywood from Greenply, Century, or equivalent brands
• 10-Year Warranty — Applies to premium hardware from Hettich, Blum, and Häfele
• 5-Year Warranty — Applies to laminates, surface finishes, and powder-coated aluminum profiles

All warranties cover manufacturing defects and installation workmanship. Warranties do not cover:

• Natural wear and tear from normal use
• Water seepage caused by external plumbing issues, leaking pipes, or terrace/roof water ingress
• Physical damage caused by the user, including impact, scratching, or misuse
• Damage from pests, rodents, or insects after installation
• Color fading caused by direct prolonged sunlight exposure (UV damage)

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to: provide accurate measurements and site access; ensure civil, electrical, and plumbing work is complete before installation begins; have a responsible adult present during installation; and make payments as per the agreed schedule. Failure to fulfil these responsibilities may result in delays for which AJ Interior Tech shall not be liable.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from services provided in Hassan, Bangalore, Mysore, or any other location shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hassan, Karnataka.
